4.5 stars. As of this review, I have been using this app for about a year. That entitles me to say a few things about it, and I must say that I believe it is the best email client available for Mac OS. It beats Mail and Airmail, and Im not going to even bother with the usual suspects. It’s that much better. The only thing I want to change about this client is the way that it handles drafts, which is fairly abstruse. Once you create a second draft, the list of drafts is arranged in a tab/pulldown that is awkward to deal with. I also would love to see a more robust search function. As it is, the search is good only when you know and can search for the email address itself; search capability is rather week if you can only recall a snippet of the content as a search term, for example. FInally, some contextual/calendar support would be a welcome addition. Other than those three quibbles, it’s fabulous. It has helped me get my spam under control (no small feat) and get back to a zero emails system (whereby any email not read is an email I should read).
I should also mention the attachments view. If you have an attachment somewhere in your email inbox and all you know is person who sent it, that’s all you need. You simple bring up that person and click on attachments view and... whoop there it is: all of that person’s attachments ever—by list or by icon. That is so nice it can’t be overstated. If you need an email client that someone put some thought into—here it is.
